Our CoronaVirus Covid-19 Contingency Plan

We intend to deliver your local vet service as normal during the current corona-virus outbreak, but we'll be making some adjustments to the way we deliver our service to try to prevent a greater impact on our ability to operate an effect vet service in the coming weeks.

Mostly these are simple measures to help maintain hygiene, but we ask for everyone's help and understanding so we can continue to deliver our service with as little disruption as possible

Mostly these are simple measures to help maintain hygiene, but we ask for everyone's help and understanding so we can continue to deliver our service with as little disruption as possible.

 1. When booking an appointment we're going to ask you if you have a cough or fever. If you have both of these things then we might well divert you to a tele-health consultation first. Please just be honest.

This is easy and involves a video conference with one of our vets first. It is possible we can resolve your pet's problem with this call alone. But if not we will advise you what to do next.

This is a brand new service we have created to cope with the current situation and we'll all be feeling our way around it, so bear with us. We'll get a lot better at it quite quickly.

 2. All clients MUST use a hand sanitiser on entry to the building. Should you have an allergy or irritant response to this then we have some other options to help ensure everyone's safety. There won't be any exceptions to this rule.

3. Face masks can be worn at your discretion during a consultation. But you should not attend if you have a fever and cough. Call us and we'll make alternative arrangements as in point 1.

 4. No handshakes or hugs when you arrive please. We love giving out hugs and handshakes, but right now this is a no-no, so until this all settles down we're going for waving and smiling.

 5. Please (and this one is the worst of all) do not bring us any home-cooked goods or gifts :( You guys love doing this and we love getting them, but we can't accept them at the moment.

 6. Our puppy school will be put on hold for now.

It is also possible that in the coming weeks some of our team get sick and will have to stay at home.

If/when this happens we may have to alter our hours at short notice to stay open.

All we ask for is your support and patience as we all struggle to come to terms with the current situation.

We are confident that by implementing these measures we'll all get through the issue and get back to normal again soon.
