Wellness Campaign T&C's
1. Eligibility and Booking:
The Wellness Check is available exclusively for seemingly healthy pets to detect potential abnormalities.
If your pet is unwell or you have specific health concerns, please book an appointment with your veterinarian, which would be at your usual rate for a vet appointment.
These tests are external lab tests which are collected by a nurse in a nurse appointment. Clients must bring a faecal and urine sample of their pet to the appointment, and a blood test will be conducted by the nurse on the day. The blood test involves having a small area shaved on your pet in order to obtain the blood sample.

In the event of any abnormalities, you will be invited for a veterinary consultation at a cost of £67.00 to discuss the results and determine the next steps.
5. Benefits of Preventive Care Testing:
-
Early Disease Detection: Identifying diseases early through comprehensive diagnostics, such as the IDEXX SDMA Test, CBC, and urinalysis, for more effective treatments and better health outcomes.
-
Deeper Medical Insights: Thorough analysis of your pet's health, including kidney function, blood health, and potential parasite infections, for a more accurate assessment.
-
Improved Health Management: Managing chronic conditions and improving long-term health by detecting abnormalities in seemingly healthy pets.
-
Comprehensive Health Overviews: Tests like CBC, urinalysis, and Faecal Dx® antigen testing provide a broad overview of your pet's health, detecting multiple issues in a single visit.
-
Enhanced Quality of Care: Regular preventive testing ensures high-quality care, promoting longer and healthier lives for pets.
6. Important Notes:
This Wellness Check is designed to identify potential health issues in pets that appear healthy and asymptomatic.
If your pet displays any signs of illness or you have specific concerns, immediate veterinary attention is recommended instead of the Wellness Check.
By booking a Wellness Check at Roundwood Vets, you agree to these terms and conditions. We aim to provide the best preventive care to ensure the health and well-being of your pets. Thank you for choosing Roundwood Vets.
